Intriguing mix of piano-driven jazz and groovy post rock. This album trades in some of the complexity and balls out technicality found in earlier efforts for more refined and measured compositions. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss some of the insanity of their previous albums, but these songs are still really fun and interesting. The various guest spots are all solid and helps keep things fresh. vacant planet

So much great music has come out this year but I listen to this EP more than I listen to anything else, so make of that why you will. Not that my opinion should mean anything, but if you’re at all a fan of, like, music, you should check this out.

Every time I listen to this, I find something new to love. The complexity, details and bittersweet moods keep me coming back over and over again. Julian O.
